Cyrus headlines finals day entertainment

He took the seventh season of X Factor by storm, winning the Australian talent show under the guidance of US legend Chris Isaak. Now the 19-year-old Cyrus is headed for Pat Rafter Arena on Sunday performing as part of men’s finals day.

Following his breakthrough, the soulful and measured musician has hit the studio, recording his debut solo album, which features his debut single Stone, a song that debuted at No.4 on the Aria charts.

Also on the bill of gifted entertainers this weekend will be 24-year-old Anjali Raj.

The talented Brisbane singer, who is also part of acoustic duo Jezelle and seven-piece band Honey, will perform the Australian national anthem at both the women’s and men’s finals.

The inaugural FAST4 legends showdown at Brisbane International 2016 is the curtain-raiser to this year’s women’s final on Saturday with former Wimbledon champions Pat Cash against Goran Ivanisevic to square off.
