Brisbane International 2013 volunteer applications now open
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals with a diverse range of skills and experience to volunteer for Brisbane international 2013 in the following areas:
- General Volunteers – Choose from a variety of roles including Court Services, Ushers, Tournament Runners, Information Services, Tennis Activity Volunteers and Corporate Services.
- Transport – Involves transporting players, guests and officials between official hotels, Brisbane Airport and the Queensland Tennis Centre.
- Ballkid Supervisors – Working as part of the fun and energetic team you will assist with the training and supervision of the Brisbane International ballkid squad. Ballkid Supervisors are instrumental in the extensive training program for our ballkid squad – please make sure you read the position description carefully for all training dates.
We ask that all volunteers are fully available during the entire tournament period (24 December 2012 to 7 January 2013 – excluding Christmas Day) and must attend a compulsory Tournament Staff Launch in early December (General Volunteers and Transport – 1-2 December, Ballkid Supervisors 9 December). Interviews for various roles will take place between 20-30August 2012.
As a volunteer you will be provided with the following benefits:

- two tickets to a session at Pat Rafter Arena during the event
- free access to public transport to and from the Queensland Tennis Centre with your accreditation
- invitation to the exclusive volunteers thank you function at the conclusion of the event.
