Nova 106.9 and the Brisbane International have announced a new partnership which will see patrons enjoying the hottest entertainment both on and off the court at the signature event from January 1-8, 2012.
Nova 106.9 will take over the Tennis Central precinct and serve up a host of entertainment on a purpose built stage, while the world’s best tennis players compete for the first title of the year, the Brisbane International.
“The Brisbane International has continued to build in momentum each year,” Brisbane International Tournament Director Cameron Pearson said.
“With the upgraded WTA event in 2012, we recognised that we needed to reconfigure our space to ensure the best possible spectator experience and with Nova’s added entertainment it is going to be our best tournament so far.”
While most of the action is taking place on the courts, this year’s crowds will also enjoy a host of bands and artists – from established names to new artists along with great live DJs and cover bands – in a party atmosphere at Tennis Central.
Feature artists will kick off from 5pm (details below) with intimate performances and full band feature acts to set the scene for a hot night of entertainment.
